Over the years I've discussed the idea of doing a Zombie Pinups calendar with a number of cohorts, but it never gets done due to time/money constraints.
In the best spirit of "You Snooze, You Lose", a group of enthusiastic artists and designers in San Francisco (the birthplace of the Zombie Pinup!) took the initiative earlier this year and produced a calendar that is far superior to anything I probably would have come up with.
Inspired by one of the ZPU online contests earlier in the year, this group set out to do photos to enter the contest, then the project evolved, and we all can reap the benefits! Go to

28 Days Later to
Zombie Strippers make explicit reference to wartime, as did seminal 1968 zombie flick
Night of the Living Dead. Is there really a connection between zombie movies and social unrest? IO9.com decided to do some research and find out. Check out their results
